Kites of all sizes and colors filled the sky above the Port Aransas beach on Saturday, Oct. 11, for the Fall Kite Fly. Folks of all ages came to the beach to launch their kites or to just watch the kites fly overhead.

Scores of people descended on the waterfront to take part in the Port Aransas Education Foundation’s big fundraiser. The event, called Sittin’ on the Dock of Port A, was at Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 4. Pirates be on parade!
Yarrgh! Buccaneers hit the streets of Port Aransas during the annual Pirate Parade on Saturday, Sept. 20. The event raised $250 for the annual Emergency Services Toy Roundup, which provides toys for Port Aransas kids in need at Christmas.

Play ball!
Fall Port Aransas coed softball league games are competitive, but they always have a fun vibe, too. Four teams are playing in the league this fall.
